How does it show itself?
Symptoms can include:
- Occasional coughing
- Reduced performance (e.g. reluctance to respond to aids)
- Mucus from the nose
- Sometimes wheezing, may even be a visible 'heave line' between the flank and the thorax
Why does it matter?
Allergies can be detrimental to the horse’s comfort and can hinder performance.
